Charlie Barron began his electrical career right out of high school with Walla Walla Electric in 1998. Beginning as an apprentice, and moving to journeyman, estimator, project manager, he eventually rose to President/CEO of Walla Walla Electric in 2014 after his mentor and the founder of the company moved into retirement!
Charlie is proud to be just the second President/CEO since the company was founded by Everett Knudson in 1975.
With a passion to expand the electrical trade and mentor a younger generation, Charlie has helped at local schools and worked with Worksource to provide insight to what our trade has to offer.
Charlie and his wife Tracy have three young children, Caleb, Makenna, and Carter. He is very active in coaching little league, little guy wrestling, and rodeo events with his wife and children.
In his spare time, Charlie enjoys being a board member of the oldest fair in WA state, the Walla Walla Frontier Days, spending time with family, hunting, snowmobiling, four wheeling and being outdoors. As well as being very active in the Waitsburg, WA Lions Club, Bi County 4-H Camp Board of Directors, and the Walla Walla Exchange Club among many other local groups.
Charlie has been an IEC of Washington board member since 2014.
